REFUND POLICY
At Matt Anthony Photography, we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional photography services. Based in Canada, our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and compliant with Canadian consumer protection laws. This policy outlines how refunds are handled for our photography sessions and related services.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This deposit confirms your appointment and contributes towards the preparation of your session.
Client Cancellation
Cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we've established the following policy:
More than 30 days before the event: You are eligible for a full refund of any payments made beyond the reservation fee.
14 to 30 days before the event: You'll receive a 50% refund of any additional payments beyond the reservation fee.
Less than 14 days before the event: No refunds will be provided due to the proximity to the event date.
Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change:
More than 14 days before the event: You may reschedule your session once without a fee, subject to our availability.
Within 14 days of the event: Rescheduling is subject to a fee of 20% of the total service cost, depending on our availability.
Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund, including the reservation fee. We will also offer to reschedule at no additional cost, subject to our availability.
Service Dissatisfaction
We strive for excellence in our work. If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of your photography session due to factors within our control, we offer a re-shoot or a partial refund/credit towards future services, determined on a case-by-case basis.
Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for failure to fulfill obligations if such failure is due to natural disasters, war, government actions, or other severe disruptions not within reasonable control. We will work together to find a suitable rescheduling option without additional fees.
Acceptance
By securing your booking with the reservation fee, you agree to this cancellation policy. This ensures a mutual understanding and helps us provide you with the best possible service.
