Working Together

I'm based in Squamish, British Columbia and serve the entire Sea to Sky Corridor including Whistler, Pemberton, and the Sunshine Coast. I also regularly shoot in Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and across BC. I'm happy to travel for the right project.

Most of my clients are architects, custom home builders, interior designers, and construction companies across British Columbia. I also work with real estate developers, landscape architects, and design build firms who need professional imagery for their portfolios, websites, award submissions, and marketing.

I recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date and allow time for pre shoot planning. That said, I can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability and season.

No. While completed project photography is the core of what I do, I also offer jobsite progression documentation, construction lifestyle photography, and team headshots. Some of my retainer clients have me on site at multiple stages throughout a build.

I focus on documenting design intent, not just producing pretty images. Before I pick up a camera, I take the time to understand the architect's or builder's vision, the material choices, the spatial flow, and the story the project is trying to tell. The photography follows from that understanding.

I also offer full spectrum coverage under one roof: architectural photography, videography, drone, team portraits, and progression documentation. That means your visual identity stays cohesive across every touchpoint.

The Process

A typical session includes a pre shoot consultation to understand your project and goals, a full day or half day on site capturing exterior, interior, detail, and aerial photography, professional post production editing, and delivery of high resolution images through a curated online gallery within 5 to 10 business days.

Before every shoot, I review architectural plans, renderings, or previous photos to understand orientation, light conditions, and composition opportunities. I'll send you a prep checklist covering staging tips, timing, and key design details to highlight. This ensures we make the most of our time on site.

Most residential architectural shoots take between 3 and 6 hours depending on the size of the property and the scope of coverage. Larger properties, multi building sites, or projects that include twilight photography may require a full day or a return visit.

It's not required. I'm comfortable working independently and do so on most shoots. That said, many clients like to be present for part of the session, especially early on, to walk me through specific design details they want highlighted. Either way works well.

Ideally, yes. Professionally staged or well styled spaces photograph significantly better. I'll send you a pre shoot prep guide with specific tips on decluttering, styling, and what to expect. If you're working with an interior designer or stager, I'm happy to coordinate with them directly.

Drone & Technical

Yes. I'm a Transport Canada certified Advanced Drone Pilot. Aerial photography is part of how I work and is included in most architectural shoots. It adds context, reveals a project's relationship to its surroundings, and gives clients a perspective that ground level photography can't achieve on its own.

Yes. Drone flights are regulated by Transport Canada and certain areas have airspace restrictions, including near airports, helipads, and some national parks. I handle all flight planning and regulatory compliance. If a location has restrictions, I'll let you know during the planning stage and suggest alternative approaches if needed.

Yes. I produce cinematic video content that showcases the flow, scale, and atmosphere of a property. This includes ground level walkthroughs, aerial flyovers, and detail sequences. Video is crafted for web, social media, and presentation use.

I shoot with professional full frame mirrorless cameras and a range of architectural lenses including tilt shift glass for perspective correction. For aerial work, I use a commercial grade drone platform. All post production is done in Lightroom and Photoshop with a focus on natural, editorial quality results.

Deliverables & Licensing

Final images are typically delivered within 5 to 10 business days through a curated online gallery. You'll receive both high resolution files for print and web optimized versions. Rush delivery is available if you're working toward a deadline.

You'll receive high resolution JPEGs optimized for both print and digital use. Web sized versions and social media crops are available on request. If you need TIFF files or specific formats for a publication, I can accommodate that as well.

Yes. All images come with a commercial usage license that covers your website, social media, print marketing, award submissions, and editorial use. We'll discuss your specific needs during the booking process to make sure the license fits.

Absolutely. A large part of what I do is creating imagery specifically designed for award submissions and publication. I understand the requirements for programs like the CHBA Awards, GVHBA Ovation Awards, and various design publications. I can provide images formatted and composed to meet those standards. For a deeper look at how we approach this, see our complete guide to architectural photography for awards and publications.

Pricing & Packages

Pricing is based on the scope of each project including the number of images, time on site, location, and any additional services like drone photography or videography. I provide custom quotes after an initial conversation about your project.

Yes. For builders, architects, and firms with multiple projects throughout the year, I offer retainer partnerships that include a set number of shoots at a preferred rate. This ensures consistent visual quality across your portfolio and gives you priority scheduling.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due upon delivery of the final images. I accept e transfer, credit card, and bank transfer.

Aerial photography is included in most architectural packages. For standalone drone sessions or projects that require extended aerial coverage, it's quoted separately. I'll always be upfront about costs during the proposal stage.
